Congratulations to our two ROE #21 Spelling Bee participants from Carterville Junior High School, Robyn Kiel and Greenlee Zelasko, for both making it to the final rounds of the spelling bee! Robyn made it into the top five, and Greenlee is this year’s champion! It is a good day to be a Lion!
The Carterville Junior High bowling teams had a great weekend at the regional tournament this past weekend. The girls received 4th place, and the boys received 3rd place! Both teams will advance to state this coming weekend. Also, the top 10 from each team for individual scores received medals. This included Lyla Erwin with 5th place, Brooklyn Schnicker with 9th place, and Griffin Schoonover with 3rd place! Congratulations to both teams and good luck at state!
