Congratulations to our Tri-C students competing in The Special Olympics! All three students did a great job. Thank you Ms. Gaston and Mrs. Fleener for helping our athletes.

Reminder: Friday (4/17) is Hat Day Dollar Day - wear your favorite hat to school! $1 donations are greatly appreciated and proceeds will be donated to the “Ag in the Classroom” program.

Congratulations to Cash Dodson and Lilian Hatfield on representing Tri-C Elementary at tonight's Illinois Principals Association student recognition dinner. Both students excel in academics, behavior and character and are great representatives for our school. Congratulations Cash and Lilian!

Carterville CUDS #5 PTO Meeting on Thursday night at 6:00 p.m. - Location: CIS Library - Come join us as we finalize plans and dates for the end-of-school-year activities!

April 4th is National School Librarian Day & we want to recognize Mrs. Melissa Giblin! Thank you for making books come alive in the library!

Friday (3/27) is our PBIS Monthly Reward - Shamrock Sock Hop. Wear GREEN and your favorite CRAZY SOCKS!

To celebrate MLB Opening Day on Thursday (3/26/2026), students may wear baseball jersey/hat to support their favorite baseball team!

Tri-C students will be visiting CHS tomorrow (Thurs 3/26) to watch a few of the kid friendly song selections from the musical "Little Shop of Horrors," then the cast/crew will hold a short Q&A session to share with our students what goes into creating a musical or theatrical production. Tri-C students will not be viewing the musical in its entirety. $1 donation per student is appreciated to help support the CHS musical program.

Tri-C students will be visiting the CHS Carnival on Friday (3/20/26). A $1 donation to help offset carnival give-aways and prizes is very appreciated, but not necessary for students to participate. Thank you CHS for inviting our students to this fun-filled event!

Tomorrow is our PBIS Scooter Race reward. Qualifying students will wear their class color and compete in our annual scooter races. See the picture for class color information.
